South America

Follow the footsteps of three adventurers – Martin, Pavel, and Michal, who decide to travel through South America. And they do it on motorcycles. Their planned route takes them from Chile to the south and then through Argentina and Bolivia to Lake Titicaca. First, however, they must grapple with Chilean bureaucracy – quite a big challenge right from the start. The motorcycles themselves, incidentally of Chinese manufacture, also prove problematic. The journey is further complicated by large forest fires, ubiquitous checkpoints, and something few would expect in South America – traffic jams. However, all of this is compensated by the beauty of South American mountains, volcanoes, lakes, and forests.

This extraordinary project in the form of a four-part documentary series will offer viewers not only breathtaking shots of South America but also an original musical accompaniment with occasional truly cinematic interludes. “dopryCZtadyma” is a travel documentary with an unconventional format, where its creators, who are also participants, embark on a 100-day motorcycle expedition across South America. Without experience, but with great passion, they overcome all obstacles, which often shift beyond reality, and we can thus witness not only their journey through Chilean Patagonia, the Argentine pampas, and the Bolivian jungle but also a journey into their imagination.
