The first motorcycle for which one goes with a still-wet stamp on their driver’s license. The previous owner was stylish and equipped it with a round Japanese-style headlight, so it was love at first sight. For the first few months, I rode with a worn-out steering head bearing, thinking it was just the Jawa Experience. Personal experience with this legendary machine should be mandatory for new riders. With the right choice of swear words, skilled work with a hammer and saw, and basic knowledge of black magic, it took me to Ukraine without major problems, and after nearly two years of relatively (it’s still a Jawa) trouble-free operation, I put it back into circulation and made another owner as happy as I was.
